Fees
Fees help and FAQs from Moneda on your self-custody account, stablecoins, transfers, security, and AI agent.
Does Moneda charge fees?
Some actions in Moneda have a small fee, and it's always shown before you confirm:
- Currency conversion: 1% on the Standard plan, included in the exchange rate you see.
- Earnings deposits: 0.75% on the Standard plan.
- Crypto top-ups: 1% to 1.5% on the Standard plan, depending on the token.
Premium and Ultra don't pay these fees. Moneda covers the blockchain network fees (gas) for everyone, so you don't pay them when you send money.
Does Moneda charge fees for transfers?
Moneda covers the network fees (also called gas) for your transactions, so you don't pay them when you send money to contacts or external wallets, move money into or out of Earnings, or add a Recovery Contact. The confirmation screen shows the network fee crossed out and 0 as the amount you pay.
Other fees can apply depending on what you do, for example a currency exchange fee when you convert between currencies, or a fee when you move money to another network. These depend on your plan and are always shown before you confirm.
Are there hidden fees?
No, Moneda does not have hidden fees. Any fee that applies is shown before you confirm.
Here's how fees work:
• Top ups: some top up methods may carry a small fee depending on the payment type. It is shown when you top up. • Currency exchange: converting between currencies, for example from USD to EUR, includes a small exchange fee that depends on your plan. It is reflected in the exchange rate you see. • Network fees: Moneda covers the blockchain network fees (gas) for your transactions, so you don't pay them.
