Why is my passkey linked to my email address?
Your Moneda account is identified by an email address, and your passkey is registered against it. That pairing is what lets you sign in without a password: you pick the email, and your device proves it holds the matching passkey.
On a device you have used before, Moneda remembers your accounts and shows them on the sign-in screen, so you just tap the right email. On a new device, choose "Use another account" and enter your email address, then sign in with the passkey saved in your password manager. Moneda remembers it afterwards for faster sign-ins.
Because the pairing matters, use an address you will keep. Aliases such as name+moneda@example.com are best avoided, since they are not supported for account recovery.
If you no longer have the passkey for an email, use "I lost my passkey" on the sign-in screen to start recovery.
