Can I let my own AI agent use my Moneda account?

Yes. There are three ways in:

• MCP, for AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT
• the REST API, for your own code
• the moneda command-line tool, for scripts and terminals

All three use the same permissions. You decide what the agent can read and what it can prepare, and you can revoke access at any time.

Your agent can read balances, transactions and spending, and it can prepare payments, currency exchanges and crypto trades. It can't complete any of these by itself: each one waits for your approval in the Moneda app, confirmed with your Passkey. A request expires after 5 minutes if you don't approve it.
