Moneda itself is not regulated. It's the app you use, not a bank or a broker, and it never holds your money. The regulated services in the app come from licensed partners, each under its own terms:

- **Stocks and ETFs:** Dinari, a regulated broker, provides your brokerage account. Every tokenised share is backed one-for-one by a real share it holds.
- **Virtual accounts and bank transfers:** MoonPay Enterprise (formerly Iron).
- **EUR and USD balances:** EURC and USDC, electronic money tokens issued by Circle under the EU's MiCA rules.

Some features don't involve a regulated partner. The Earnings Account, for example, runs on DeFi protocols. The app tells you when that's the case.
