# How long does it take to get started with Moneda?

A couple of minutes. You only need a phone and an email address.

- **Sign up** with Apple, Google or your email. There's no password to make up.
- **Create your Passkey.** It takes one tap and uses the Face ID or fingerprint you already have on your phone. From then on, you sign in and approve everything with it. There's no recovery phrase to write down and no keys to look after.
- **Ask Moneda AI anything**, straight away.

When you want to invest, open a brokerage account from the Invest tab. You verify your identity once, which takes a few minutes, and the account usually opens shortly after.
