# I chose the wrong country of residence. Can I change it?

If your identity verification isn't approved yet, you can change it yourself in **Settings > Account > Country of residence**.

Once your verification is approved, your country of residence is locked and can't be changed, including by our support team. If you have questions, go to **Help Centre > Talk to Support**.
